There was a time when Sourabh Raaj Jain was known for playing the roles of Gods. However, the actor broke that stereotype when he aced his role in Patiala Babes.

While Sourabh now prefers to explore other genres, he still celebrates roles that made him a household name. And one such show is Mahakaali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai, which had the actor playing Lord Shiva.

Mahakaali is a show very close to Sourabh’s heart. And not just because it was super successful but because it was during this very show that he and wife Ridhima welcomed their twins, Hrishika and Hrishivh. In a post on social media, Sourabh celebrated the show completing five years. He wrote, “My many thanks to each and every person associated with the show…this show is particularly very close to me as it was during this show that I was blessed with my babies.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
