Sussanne Khan has said Aryan Khan was “unfortunately” at the wrong place at the wrong time. She was reacting to Shobhaa De’s Instagram post saying ‘Aryan’s arrest should be wake-up call for parents’. Sussanne wrote, “This situation is being made an example to drive home the excitement some people get as they have a witch hunt on people from Bollywood.”

Reacting to social media criticizing Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan Khan after his arrest in the drugs case, Sussanne Khan said, “”I think this is not about Aryan Khan, as he was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time.”

Aryan Khan arrested by the NCB on Sunday for alleged possession of drugs when officials busted a drugs party onboard a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. The NCB team, led by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede, raided the Goa-bound ship on Saturday evening based on a tip-off that a party was scheduled onboard. The sleuths seized 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD, 21 grams of charas and 22 pills of Ecstasy and Rs 1.33 lakh.

On Monday, Aryan was denied bail and sent to custody till Thursday
