Singer Rupali Jagga, who recently released a groovy Hindi-Punjabi music video Tere Piche, is back with another romantic track titled Tere Bin Jeena Kya from the upcoming Neeraj Pandey film Operation Romeo. The song will mark the official debut of the reality-show star singer in Bollywood.

Rupali is overjoyed with the fact that she got to work with none other than MM Kreem, the music composer, singer and lyricist, who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Another latest song of his, Naacho Naacho, from the Telugu film, RRR, has made every influencer groove on the peppy track. The successful singer-director jodi, MM Kreem and Vishal Mishra, of Naacho are reuniting for Tere Bin Jeena Kya, in which Rupali has lent her voice for the female lead. She says, “It was Manoj Muntashir ji who gave me a call and told me about this assignment as he penned this melody. As much as I enjoyed working with the artistes, from composer to lyricist to fellow singer Vishal Mishra, it also served as a learning experience.”

True talent

Rupali’s musical journey started pretty early after she was praised for singing a bhajan at some event. She took part in many reality shows and while it made her famous, she explains how fame is temporary but talent permanent. She continues, “Today the viewers and listeners have a short attention span. And one needs to keep resurfacing with good content. Also, reinventing yourself is the key to staying relevant, especially after winning or being on a reality show. The industry is full of talented people.”

Off to a great start, the singer is hopeful of entertaining her fans all around the year. Operation Romeo will be released on April 22 and Rupali can’t wait to see her song on the 70-mm screen. For the unversed, Rupali was one of the finalists on singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee TV and received the title of ‘Shakira of India’ in 2016 by the judges. Since then, Rupali has been releasing her singles on YouTube and other platforms. A trained singer from Agra gharana, she is also the winner of the first edition of singing reality show Indian Pro Music League.
