Starring an exhibitionist cast with Robert Pattinson, Charlie Hunnam and Tom Holland, The Lost City Of Z will be a part of &flix’s offering of bringing one new title on television every month as part of the Flix First Premiere. The film will be aired on August 15 at 1pm and 9 pm on &flix. The movie is inspired by the real-life story of British explorer Percy Fawcett whose search for a lost ancient city led to his sudden disappearance in the Amazonian forests.

The Lost City of Z tells the story of discovery and mystery, and of the British adventurer in the Amazon consumed by glories of exploration. Enveloped by the dark trails of forests that has never been travelled upon before, Percy Fawcett and his crew face deadly animals and the most terrifying of threats, the hostility of an indigenous tribe of people.

Undaunted, he perseveres and ventures into a world that at first a passion turns into something of a hallucination that eventually drives him crazy.
