Actor Vicky Kaushal’s father Sham Kaushal is a veteran stunt coordinator and has been in the film industry for decades now. As fit as ever, a video where he is acing battle rope workout has gone viral on the internet. The video, shared by Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram, shows Sham Kaushal in top form at a gym.

Sham Kaushal began his career in the 80s and has choreographed stunt scenes for actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and many others.

Some weeks back, megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture of himself with Sham Kaushal. Congratulating Sham on son Vicky Kaushal’s wedding with Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “On set with Action Director, Sham (Shyam) Kaushal, Vicky’s father, been working with him for ages, a most humble endearing and loveable human. Vadhaiyaan vadhaiyaan vadhaiyaan.” Amitabh and Sham have worked on several projects together. Some of those films include, Bootnath, Black, Armaan.

Sham Kaushal then shared the same picture on his social media handle and wrote, “Thanks Amit Phaji for all ur love & wishes over the years Amitabh Bachchan I have been blessed to be working with u for the last 40 years, first as a stuntman & then as Action Director. So much to learn from u Paji. Gratitude.”

Vicky Kaushal reacted to the post. He wrote, “Sir!,” along with heart emojis.
