Samosa is an all-time favourite and ubiquitous snack for Indians when hunger pangs kick in as it is available everywhere. For many, samosa means the fried pastry with filling of spiced potatoes and they can’t fathom any experiments with their favourite snack.

However, there have been many videos showcasing various fusions being created and experimenting with the savoury of samosas.

In one such experiment, food blogger Gaurav Wasan has shared a video showing a local vendor preparing coloured samosas.

Judging from the hashtags on the video, the vendor seems to be from Kanpur.

He prepares coloured samosas which are used to differentiate between the different fillings.

“Pappu ji ke colour wale Samose. Food colour is applied on samosa to differentiate between the varieties. Ever had these??” he wrote while posting the video.

Many people were left amused by the coloured samosas and joked that now girls will crave pink samosas but many users were not happy with the experiment.

What are your thoughts on the video and would you try this fusion snack?
