Nishant Singh Malkhani, who was recently evicted from ‘Bigg Boss 14’, talks about his experience of being a part of the reality show

You entered the Bigg Boss house as a rejected contestant. Did it lower your morale?

No. I was confident that whenever I would get an opportunity, I would be able to make a mark.

You accepted the bikini top task in the very first week. What was running through your mind at that time?

I went to the show with just two things in mind – being real and giving my best. And I did both. I was not hesitant in wearing a bikini top in the show because I had heard that there were worse things that people do to other contestants.

What do you think of friendships inside the house?

Well, equations and friendships change within seconds inside the house. People will be good to you on your face, but they will be talking behind your back. It all depends on tasks and nominations.

Your bonding with Jaan Kumar Sanu was going quite strong? Did you feel disappointed that things did not go well later?

I considered him as my younger brother, but look where it brought me. I felt a connection with him, but it was much later that I realised it was a one-sided friendship. I fought for him during the captaincy task, but little did I know that it would come back to bite me. When he took my name for the swap, I was really surprised, but the show taught me a good lesson – you shouldn’t trust anyone and everyone.

Who according to you is real? And who is faking it?

I feel Jasmin Bhasin is playing well. She is very strong, and at the same time doesn’t shy away from showing her emotional side too. I think Eijaz Khan is faking it.

What do you think of the contestants voting out others?

I feel it’s very unfair, it’s a show for the audience, so they should have the right to decide who should stay and who shouldn’t.
