Pooja Hegde’s Monica track from Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Coolie, is making waves.

The song, a tribute to the Italian screen legend Monica Bellucci, reached her recently. And the Italian screen icon’s response was simple - she loved it! For Pooja, these words of appreciation were beyond praise.

Pooja shared, “Oh, really? Wow. That’s the biggest compliment ever!” She continued, “I’ve actually always loved Monica Bellucci. She is so iconic. So, it is a big feat. I’m glad she liked it.”

Pooja also acknowledged the role of her fans in contributing to the song’s reach to Monica Bellucci. “I believe a lot of people were commenting on her Instagram, and a lot of Tamil fans were saying, ‘Please go watch Coolie’s song.’”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
