Indian scriptures have always depicted the relationship between Radha and Krishn as pure and soulful. This bond is beautifully captured in Swastik Productions’ Radha-Krishn, played by Mallika Singh and Sumedh Mudgalkar. The duo’s chemistry in the show is spot on. Will their love remain the same with the entry of Rukmini in their lives? Rukmini’s character will be played the popular television actress, Zalak Desai.

On her entry in the show, Zalak commented, “Rukmini is an ethereal beauty to me. She falls in love with Krishn even before meeting him and that in itself is a testament of her devotion. This is my very first association with Swastik Productions and I am really overwhelmed that Siddharth sir has given me the opportunity to play this inspiring character of Rukmini. I really hope I’m able to stand true to the expectations of all our loyal fans of the show.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
