Customer Service Associate (CSA) examination

The IBPS Clerk examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection to recruit candidates as Clerks/ Customer Service Associate in the participating Public Sector Banks.

As per the official IBPS Calendar 2025 the IBPS Clerk 2025 Notification is expected to be released in July 2025

Dates: The IBPS Clerk Exam Dates 2025 have been announced. The Prelims will be held on December 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2025 and the Mains will be held on February 1, 2026.

Imp: The IBPS Clerk designation name has been changed to “Customer Service Associate” (CSA) and this change in designation is effective from 01.04.2024.

Eligibility: The age of the candidates must be between 20-28 years.

Candidates with graduation in any discipline can apply for this post.

Salary and Job Profile:

The basic pay of IBPS Clerk is INR 26,730 per month (tentative).

In addition to the basic pay, candidates are entitled to allowances such HRA, DA, TA, Medical Allowance, paid leave & more.

The in-hand salary of the appointed candidates is around ₹42,512 per month.

All appointed candidates are required to undergo probation for 6 months.

Exam Pattern: Objective type questions. The Prelims is of 100 marks, while the Mains exam will be for 200 marks.

Syllabus for the Prelim exam includes English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. Mains syllabus has topics from General Awareness /Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.
