Haryana Transport Minister Moolchand Sharma today said the Haryana Roadways will include 1,800 new buses in its fleet.

Of them, around 550 will be electric buses, 250 mini buses and 1,000 ordinary buses. “With these buses, the fleet will be or around 5,400 buses,” the minister said.

The minister was in the city to chair the district grievance redress committee at the mini secretariat.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
