The Nuh cyber police have arrested a person for cheating people by posing as fake police and Army officers. A mobile phone and a fake SIM card has been recovered from him.

An FIR was registered at the Nuh cyber police station. According to the police, the accused, identified as Mursaleem of Mohammadpur Ted village in Nuh district, had created a fake profile on social media, where he would pose as police and Army officers. Through these profiles, he used to call people and threaten them. According to the police, complaints were received against him from different places. On the basis of these complaints, officials took immediate action against him.

“We are questioning him,” said a police spokesperson.
