According to the police, Sumit had gone to Alwar two days ago to visit friends. On their way to Delhi, he was traveling in Neeraj’s Hyundai i20 along with Ramprasad, Yuvraj and Armaan. The fatal accident occurred around 3.30 am near Sidhrawali close to Mannat Hotel. Police said a truck suddenly appeared in front of the car. Though Neeraj applied brakes, the vehicle skidded and collided with the truck from behind. The truck driver fled the scene with the vehicle after the crash. Drag marks of the car were found on the highway, indicating a high-speed impact.

The police are currently investigating the incident and searching for the truck involved.
