Two separate teams have caught 11 vehicles involved in overloading and in illegal transportation of mining minerals without e-Rawana/bills in Yamunanagar district. The vehicles were impounded.

According to information, a joint team of Mines and Geology Department, Yamunanagar, and the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau caught six trucks from near the barricade of Bhudkalan village for illegal transportation of mining minerals without e-Rawana/bill on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

Aman Kumar, Mining Inspector, Yamunanagar, said the vehicles were impounded and handed over to the authorities of the Haryana State Enforcement Bureau.

“The joint team of the Mining Department and Enforcement Bureau has caught six vehicles/trucks, which were found transporting illegal mining minerals without e-Rawana/bills. We impounded the vehicles and handed these over to the authorities of the Enforcement Bureau, who parked the trucks in the vehicle yard, situated at Kharwan village,” said Aman Kumar.

Meanwhile, a team of the CM Flying Squad has also impounded five overloaded tippers involved in overloading and illegal transportation of mining minerals without e-Rawana/bills in Yamunanagar district.

These overloaded vehicles were caught near Gulabgarh village on the Jagadhri-Paonta Sahib national highway and these vehicles were going towards Yamunanagar from Pratap Nagar side of the district on Thursday evening.

The team of the CM Flying Squad was led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitender Kumar.

After catching the vehicles, the team of the CM Flying Squad handed over the vehicles to the Mining Department for further action.
