Giving an instance, she alleged that no budget had been released for drug addition centre in Kurukshetra since 2016. As the centre had been lying closed since 2020, as many as 11 staff members have lost jobs.

Similarly, the Rewari drug addiction centre had been without building and functioning from a rented accommodation. No budget had been released for the centre and the posts were also lying vacant. Similarly, the Jind centre had also not got any budget since 2020, the MP alleged. "The situation in other drug addiction centre is no different. The state government must spare a thought for these centres," she said.
