The CIA-2 unit of Kurukshetra police arrested two miscreants and seized a hand grenade from their possession on Kurukshetra-Pehowa road late on Tuesday evening.
The miscreants were identified as Gurvinder and Sandeep of Punjab. They were on a two-wheeler, bearing Punjab registration number plate, when they were nabbed.

The police also seized five live cartridges from their possession. The accused were allegedly waiting to collect the arms. After getting information, Pehowa DSP Nirmal Singh, other senior officers and a bomb disposal team also reached the spot and the grenade was diffused.
The CIA-2 unit incharge, Mohan Lal, said following a tip-off regarding two suspects in Pehowa area, a search was launched and they were spotted at a deserted location. After seeing the team, they tried to flee, but were nabbed.
