The Palwal police have nabbed two youths with illicit arms in the past 24 hours.

A police official said one of the accused, Saurabh, was arrested while he was going towards Ghori village on Tuesday. He was found to be having a countrymade pistol and a cartridge at the time of arrest.

The second accused, Pawan, has been nabbed from Deeghot village with a .315 bore weapon and four live cartridges. He said both accused could not produce any licence or document.

Meanwhile, in Gurugram, the police have arrested three men with illegal weapons while they were planning to commit robbery. A countrymade pistol with a cartridge were seized while two motorcycles and an iron rod were recovered from their possession.

The accused were identified as Taleem, Zakir and Sohail, a resident of Jhopdi village in Deeg. An FIR was registered at the Sohna city police station.
