Two men hailing from Andhra Pradesh were found dead at a guest house in Dharuhera town here on Wednesday. The exact cause of death would be ascertained after the postmortem report but the police have started an investigation into the case. The police have ruled out any foul play in the case. As per guest house employees, both had gone to the room after having dinner as usual last night.

The incident came to the fore in the morning when the guest house employees knocked on the door of their room but no one responded from inside. Suspecting something fishy, the employees informed the police, which rushed to the spot. Cops entered the room through a window and found the duo dead.

Sanjay Kumar, SHO, Dharuhera Sector-6 police station, said the bodies had been kept at the mortuary of the Civil Hospital while their family members had been informed about the incident.

“The FIR will be lodged on the basis of the statement of their family members. It seems to be a case of food poisoning,” he added.
