The Gurugram police have arrested two men for threatening to kill a witness in a double murder case in a Facebook live video.

According to the police, the witness had complained on December 12 some persons were threatening to kill him in a video. Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at the Pataudi police station.

During investigating, a crime unit team of Farrukhnagar arrested two men on Thursday. The accused were identified as Sandeep and Surender, alias Bholi, both residents of Tirpadi village.

“During interrogation, Sandeep revealed that he was the nephew of Ajay Zaildar, who is the main accused in the case of double murder. At his behest, both the accused had threatened to kill the witness. Both of them have criminal backgrounds and we are questioning them,” said a spokesperson of the Gurugram police.
