Jhajjar, January 31

Two persons were killed when their car collided head-on with a tractor near Girawar village on the Jhajjar-Sampla road here on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Surjeet and Jai Bhagwan of Sonepat district.

Some passersby rushed to the spot and took them to the hospital but they succumbed to the injuries. The police have filed a case against the tractor driver who managed to flee after the incident. — TNS
