The police on Saturday arrested two more accused in the murder case of three persons of Basai village on August 21. The murders were a result of a gang rivalry.

So far, the police have arrested four accused. The main accused, however, is at large.

The accused, arrested on Saturday from Jhajjar’s Badli, were identified as Sunny of Bhiwani’s Mitathal village and Gaurav of Basai village. They were remanded to police custody. They belong to the Hari Om gang of Basai.

“The accused said the murder was pre-planned. Raids are on to nab the main accused,” said Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP, Crime. — OC
