2 more test positive for dengue in Gurugram

Two new patients, a 13-year old girl from Naharpur Roopa and an eight-year old girl from Dhankor village, tested positive for dengue in Gurugram during the past 24 hours.

  • The health department has set up a control room for dengue with toll free number 18001801817 for seeking information on dengue or its treatment
  • A spokesperson for the Gurugram Municipal Corporation stated that fogging is carried out upon request from residents.

District Surveillance Officer of the Health Department Dr JP Singh said the total count of dengue patients have increased to 122 in the current season.

As many as seven patients were still admitted to the government hospitals for treatment, while three others were discharged after treatment.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Virender Yadav, said all civic bodies have been instructed to carry out fogging.
