Kalyan urged the newly nominated councillors to rise above narrow thinking and work unitedly for the progress of the city. “Development is a continuous process and problems will never fully end. It is the responsibility of the government, administration and people’s representatives to find solutions,” he said. On the property certification drive, the Speaker informed that out of 4,400 identified properties within the Lal Dora, only 250 applications for ownership rights had been received so far. Of these, 144 ownership certificates are being distributed.
