Covid19: 20 more succumb in Haryana
Chandigarh, October 8
With 1,284 fresh cases, the total number of Covid cases in the state went up to 1,38,682 on Thursday. The number of deaths reached 1,584 with the addition of 20 deaths.
The government discontinued the practice of pasting posters outside the houses of Covid-positive patients under self-isolation at home. An order to this effect was issued by the Director General (Health Services) on the directions of the Chief Secretary. Gurugram reported a maximum of 264 cases, followed by Faridabad (182), Hisar (129), Karnal (100) and Panchkula (80).Four deaths each were reported from Hisar and Rohtak, three from Rewari, two each from Faridabad and Jhajjar and one each from Ambala, — TNS
