The Haryana Government has decided to construct a 200-bedded maternal and child health block at the civil hospital, Faridabad.

An official spokesperson said the Chief Minister had given in-principle approval to a proposal in this regard. The spokesperson said the maternal and child block would be developed in six districts of the state, under the National Health Mission. He said one block each at the civil hospitals of Panchkula, Sonepat and Palwal, and one at the Nalhad Medical College was under construction.
