The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has issued directions to its officers regarding continuous power supply to health institutions. In order to maintain continuity of power supply in district hospitals, community health centres, primary health centers, oxygen manufacturing units and other health centres of the state, the nigam has set up control rooms at district level in Panchkula and Rohtak. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
