2,535 beneficiaries get residential plots in Sirsa

As many as 4,388 plots were kept aside in this phase for Antyodaya (economically weaker) families, and 2,535 beneficiaries received plots through the draw.
The event took place at the local Panchayat Bhawan under the chairmanship of
Chandra said beneficiaries from 37 villages were selected in the phase. Plots were allotted in villages where Panchayat land was available. In Baragudha block, plots were distributed in villages such as Bhadra, Bhiwan, Chakerian, Dhaban, Jhorar Rohi, Karamgarh, Mallri, Rohan, Saharni, Sukhchain, and Thiraj.
In Dabwali block, the villages included were Banwala, Kaluana, and Lambi, while Ellenabad block covered Kishanpura/Dhani Jattan and Mehnakhera. The Nathusari Chopta block saw allotments in Araniawali, Bakrianwali, Barasari, Chaharwala, Kagadana, Gigorani, Gudiakhera, Kukkadthana, Kutiana, Makhosrani, Modiakhera, Rampura Dhillon, Rupana, Darba Khurd, Shakkarmandori, and Tejiakhera. In the Odhan block, Ghukanwali village was included, while Gindra and Jodhpuria were selected from Rania block.
In the Sirsa block, the villages of Kusumbi, Nejadela Kalan, and Bagguwali were part of the allotment.
The scheme aims to provide secure housing to landless and needy rural families in Haryana.
The event was attended by District Development and Panchayat Officer Baljeet Singh, all BDPOs, departmental officials concerned, and several applicants.
