The accused have been identified as Aditya, Tushar, and Manoj of Gokalgarh. The police have seized one illegal homemade pistol and a live cartridge from their possession and have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
According to a police spokesperson, on November 28, Sushil Kumar of Keshav Kunj Colony in Gokalgarh filed a complaint stating that Aditya, Tushar, and Manoj had attended the wedding his daughter on November 27. He added that Tushar had reportedly fired a shot before leaving the venue, causing panic among the guests.
“During interrogation, the accused revealed that the act was committed due to an old rivalry with Sushil’s son, Harsh. All three accused were produced in court, which sent Aditya and Manoj to judicial custody, while Tushar was placed under a two-day police remand for further questioning,” the spokesperson said.
He added that Aditya has previously faced five cases for manhandling and violations of the Arms Act.
