The police arrested three individuals involved in a snatching incident while riding in an auto rickshaw. The police also seized the vehicle used in the crime and they have recovered the mobile phone.

Police officials said, on March 10, a man filed a complaint stating a group of youths in an auto rickshaw had assaulted him and stolen his mobile phone. An FIR was registered at the DLF Phase 2 police station.

During the investigation, the crime unit team from Sikenderpur arrested the three accused on Tuesday in front of the JMD building in DLF Phase 2. The arrested individuals were identified as Kuldeep and Pankaj, both from Kannauj district in Uttar Pradesh and Sujit from Supol district in Bihar.

Further checks on their criminal records revealed Pankaj had two theft cases registered against him, while Sujit had five theft cases registered in Gurugram. The police said they seized the auto rickshaw and recovered the mobile phone from the accused.
