Three judges of the local judicial complex and 15 members from the staff have been home quarantined and three courtrooms of the district judicial complex have been closed after two undertrials lodged in the district jail were found Covid positive on Tuesday.

The undertrials, aged 22-year-old and 49-year-old, hailing from Sector- 16 here and Delhi respectively had been produced in these courtrooms recently. The courtrooms of CJM Sandeep Chauhan, JMIC Kimmi Singla and JMIC Sakshi Saini have been closed. “All the staff of these courts, including the judicial officers, has been quarantined for 14 days,” said an official of the health department.
