3 miscreants nabbed after encounter, 2 injured

Two miscreants sustained bullet injuries and have been hospitalised. The accused have been identified as Kapil and Deepak of Nizampur village and Mohammad Sahil of Dera Bassi in Punjab.
Bharti Dabas, Gohana DCP, said Inspector Yogender Singh, STF incharge, and Virender Singh, Inspector, CIA Gohana, worked continuously to nab the accused.
Acting on a tip-off, the team gheraoed the accused on Khri Damkan-Sikanderpur Majra road in the wee hours of Saturday, the DCP said. When the miscreants spotted the team, they opened fire. In retaliation, the team also fired on them.
Two country-made pistols, live cartridges, and an XUV 300 were seized from their possession.
Dabas said according to police records, 14 criminal cases, including murder, had been registered against the accused.
On September 16, the industrialist was kidnapped at gunpoint while he was going to his factory. The police had nabbed five accused earlier.
