3 miscreants nabbed with illegal weapons in Gurugram

The Gurugram police have arrested three miscreants for trying to rob police officials at gunpoint. They have seized an illegal pistol, a live cartridge, a stick and a torch from them.

According to the police, the complaint said three youths, having weapons, attempted to rob visitors near DPG College on Monday. A police team, led by Inspector Vishwa Gaurav, in-charge of Sector 39 crime unit, reached the spot. One of the accused stopped the police vehicle by showing them a torch and three of them tried to stop the police team and rob them. The accused were identified as Mosim Khan (23) and Salim Khan (23), both residents of Pachnaka village in Palwal district, and Jitender (30), a resident of Surat Nagar, Phase-2, Gurugram. An FIR was registered against them.

“The accused have previous crime records. Two cases have been registered against Mosim for assault and under Arms Act in Palwal district, two for theft in Gurugram and Rajasthan each. A case has been registered against Salim in Palwal and one for theft in Gurugram. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against Jitender in Fatehabad,” said a police spokesperson.
