Ambala: Three students of MCom first year of Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantonment, grabbed three places in the merit list of Kurukshetra University in the result of annual examination held in 2022. Principal Dr Rajpal Singh said Tamanna (91.5 per cent), Jatin (91 per cent) and Simranjit (90.5 per cent) were the students who made it to the merit list.

Minor degree concept introduced

Faridabad: JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, has introduced the concept of minor degree in all BTech courses. Giving details, University Vice-Chancellor Prof SK Tomar said the minor degree concept was being introduced in Computer Engineering and Electronics Engineering Departments from this academic session. Courses such as computer vision, artificial intelligence and machine learning, IoT, biomedical and others are being introduced.

‘Well-nourished India’ programme

Gurugram: A programme ‘Well-nourished India Survey’ was organised by Gurugram University and Rashtriya Seva Bharti. Students from the Public Health Department participated in the survey which was conducted in five settlements — Wazirabad, Jalvihar, Ravinagar, Kanhai and Premnagar. They apprised the locals of the importance of proper nutrition. The VC said public awareness is important in building a malnutrition-free society.
