The Nuh police have arrested a criminal who had been absconding for over three years. As many as 11 cases were registered against the accused in several police stations in Nuh, Gurugram and Rajasthan.

According to the police, the criminal, Sabir, alias Jhonga, is a resident of Ferozepur Namak village in Nuh district.

Sabir was arrested in a cow smuggling case, which was registered at the Nuh sadar police station in 2021.

“Sabir is a notorious criminal, who was absconding for more than three years. As many as 11 cases, including those of cow smuggling, obstruction in government work, theft and illegal arms, are registered against him at several police stations, including those in Farukhnagar, Sohna, Udyog Vihar in Gurugram, Sector 5 (Old Gurugram), Tapukara in Rajasthan, Bhondsi, and Sector 65 in Gurugram. We are questioning the accused,” said a spokesperson of the Nuh police.
