Three youths were injured during an encounter with police on the outskirts of Rohtak city late Monday night. The injured have been admitted to the local PGIMS hospital.

According to police, acting on a tip-off, a team set up a naka on Sunaria Road and signaled three youths riding a motorcycle to stop.

The youths reportedly resisted, leading to an encounter. Two sustained bullet injuries, while the third was injured after falling off the motorcycle.

The injured have been identified as Azad and Pushpender from Rajasthan, along with a local resident. The trio is allegedly involved in a recent loot case involving a trader in Rohtak.
