Hisar, November 7

Three youths were killed and three others suffered injuries when a car collided with a tractor-trailer near the railway overbridge in Narwana of Jind district on the Hisar-Chandigarh road today.

A group of five youths was returning after a trip to Himachal. When they reached near Narwana, their car collided with a tractor-trailer. The deceased have been identified as Sonu (20), a resident of Mirchpur village in Hisar district; Deepak (21) of Bhaini village in Hisar district; and Saijal, who was on the tractor.

The police said three other youths suffered multiple injuries and were referred to the medical college, Agroha. Tractor driver Kurban said the car came from behind and rammed into the tractor. The police have registered a case. — TNS
