4 missing children reunited with kin

Chandigarh, January 22
The police have reunited four missing children, including two deaf and dumb, with their families.
The children were traced by the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the state Crime Branch.
In the first case, a deaf and dumb boy from Ulhasnagar in Gurugram, who had been missing since November 2019, was traced to a shelter home at Nazafgarh, Delhi. A video clip and the child””s photo was sent to a family, which recognised him as their son.
A 13-year-old boy, who had been missing from Gurugram since 2018, was found living at Children””s Home, Connaught Place, Delhi. He was handed over to his mother after the requisite formalities.
In another case, a 14-year-old girl, who had been missing from Katihar (Bihar) district since September 2019, was reunited with her family on January 15.
Another deaf and dumb 13-year-old child, who had been missing from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, since February last year was reunited with his family. An FIR in this case was lodged in Gariaband district.
