The Gurugram police have arrested four more accused in connection with the murder of a class XI student, who was kidnapped before being killed.

All accused were remanded to three-day police custody after being produced before a city court.

A XI class student, who was kidnapped by some youngsters in front of a church in Devilal Colony on Sunday, was found dead near Basai village on Wednesday.

The police had apprehended a minor boy in connection to the case on the same day from Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, According to the police, the suspects have been identified as Mannu, alias Attack, a resident of Meerut; Nitesh, alias Risky, of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh; Priyanshu, a resident of Basai village in Gurugram; and Shammi, a resident of Vikas Nagar.

Priyanshu has four cases registered against him, including robbery cases and an Arms Act case, and two cases have been registered against Manu in Gurugram.

Police interrogation revealed that an associate of one of the accused befriended the deceased.

On January 12, he made the victim consume alcohol and kidnapped him, beating him to death with sticks and stones near Basai village due to an enmity.
