The recognition is based on their outstanding research work in 2024 and their entire academic careers.
According to the CDLU spokesperson, the selected professors are Prof Sushil Kumar (Physics), Prof Joginder Singh Duhan (Biotechnology), Dr Sanju Bala Dhull (Food Science and Technology), and Dr Pradeep Kumar Saadh (Biotechnology).
These scientists have published high-quality research papers in reputed international journals. They have also contributed significantly in areas like food science, biotechnology, microbiology, and physics.
Prof Joginder Duhan has over 25 years of experience, 130 research papers and has been a guide to several PhD students. Dr Sanju Bala Dhull has over 17 years of research experience and has published books and over 130 papers. Prof Sushil Kumar and Dr Pradeep Saadh have also made major contributions in their respective fields.
As per Scopus data, these professors have thousands of citations and high h-index scores, reflecting the global impact of their research.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Vijay Kumar and other university officials congratulated the scientists for bringing pride to the institution. Students and scholars also expressed happiness over the international recognition to the professor from the university.
