4 YouTubers booked for kidnapping, gang-raping woman in Panipat

The Panipat police have booked four YouTubers, including a woman, for allegedly kidnapping and gang raping a woman here. The police have registered a case and began a probe into the matter.

The victim in her complaint to the Sadar police said she was living in a colony here and she went to the jungle on Refinery Road three days ago to bring wood. Some other women from nearby villages also go there to bring wood and fodder.

She further alleged that four persons in a car, including a woman, posed as reporters and told their names – Kiran, Aman, Ashwani and Master Sandeep. Kiran, who posed as a reporter, asked her that she (complainant) was doing wrong work here. She also asked her to make physical relations with three persons.

As she refused to do so, they forcibly pushed her in the car and took her to the jungle where the three boys raped and when she opposed them they beat her. Kiran was standing at a distance from there. They also made her video and threatened that if she told anyone about the incident, they would upload it on social media. After that they fled away from there.

Following the complaint, the Sadar police have registered a case against the four under Sections – 115, 140 (3), 351 (3), 61 and 70 (1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and begun a probe into the matter.

SP Bhupender Singh said a woman has filed a complaint against the four for raping her. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of kidnapping and gang-raping a woman, he said. A, investigation the matter is underway and no accused has been arrested so far, the SP said.
