Panipat, December 15

A-45-year-old man was shot dead in broad daylight here on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Vinod Bharara, the owner of Hartron Computer Centre here.

People gathered near the crime spot, Paramhans kutiya, after hearing the sound of the gunfire and nabbed the accused.

SP Shashank Kumar Sawan along with police officials reached the spot.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
