The police received information on Wednesday morning that some people were slaughtering cows at the home of Sahun and Mustaqeem at Ferozepur Namak village. Acting on the information, a team led by SI Jagat Singh raided the location, where the accused were allegedly slaughtering cows. The accused tried to flee, but the police nabbed them.

Those accused have been identified as Shakeel, Sahun and Mustakim of Ferozepur Namak, Shaukeen of Rupadaka village and Fateh Mohammad of Ghaseda village. Three other accused managed to flee, but the police have identified them as Asgar, Zabid and Jahangir.
