Bhiwani, July 15

The CIA-1 branch of the Bhiwani police has arrested five persons who were involved in stealing goats from eight villages in Bhiwani district.

The police spokesperson said here today that the arrested accused have been identified as Bijender, Naveen, Sanesh, Ajay and Mandeep, residents of Chang of Bhiwani district.

The accused had also confessed their involvement in goat theft cases in eight villages of Bhiwani district, besides two other locations in Hisar and Rohtak districts.

The accused were produced in the court on completion of their police remand and the accused were sent to judicial custody today.

Bhiwani SP Varun Singla formed a team of the CIA to trace a case of theft of goats in Talu village of the district occurred on July 12, 2024.

The police have also recovered two cars from the accused.
