The Haryana Government has brought various services of the Public Works Department (PWD B&R) under the purview of Right to Service Act, 2014, and has fixed the time frame for their delivery.

According to a notification issued by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, for the clearance for entry or exit from state highway or scheduled road under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORT&H) guidelines, a time limit of 40 days has been set. The right of use (ROU) permission for laying of the natural gas or pipelines right and communication infrastructure & associated installation like optical fibre cable also has a 40-day time limit.

For the enlistment of contractors for works and services, a time limit of 45 days has been set. The repair of minor potholes service has to be done within 10 days.
