Around 10 people suffered injuries after five vehicles, including a bus full of passengers, rammed into each other in Palwal due to poor visibility on Thursday morning.

According to police, a private bus heading from Ballabhgarh to Agra collided with a truck after the latter applied brakes to avoid collision with a heavy vehicle on the National Highway 19 near Sarai village. Within a few seconds, a car, another bus and truck rammed into the stationary vehicles.

Those injured have been identified as bus driver Ata Mohammed, a resident of Mohammadka village, Hathin, bus operator Baljeet of Firozabad (UP), Shameem, a resident of Ballabhgarh, Bijendra of Atwa, Dhanpati, a resident of Faridabad, Kamlesh, Rajesh, Rohtash and Devdutt, all residents of Aligarh (UP), and another person.

Doctors referred Shameem and Bijendra to higher medical centre due to their critical condition.
