The labs have been set up at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mela Ground, Sirsa, and Government Senior Secondary School, Mithri.

During the inspection, Gian Singh and Virendra Singh asked students questions about coding, artificial intelligence and robotics. The students explained that they were learning coding and robot assembly using Pictoblox software in the lab.

The DEO stated that these labs would promote active learning and make knowledge more tangible and relevant. The students will have the opportunity to develop essential skills and be inspired to pursue careers in STEM-related fields.

He said at the school level, Dr Mamta Singh, Chemistry Lecturer at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mela Ground, Sirsa and Satish, Physics Lecturer at Government Senior Secondary School Mithri, have been appointed as the nodal officers for the STEM labs. The department has also provided them with the necessary training.
