The Haryana Police today seized a consignment of 500 cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) from a container truck in Fatehabad. Two persons were arrested in this connection.

A Haryana Police spokesperson informed that a police party was present at a ‘naka’ on the national highway near the bus stand at Kharakheri village when it received a tip-off about a truck carrying a big consignment of illicit liquor worth lakhs of rupees.

Based on the input, the police team signalled to a truck bearing Gujarat registration number coming from Hisar side to stop for checking. The search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 500 liquor cases.
