The District and Sessions Judge and Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Sudesh Sharma, stressed that these plants should be nurtured like children and said it was important for every person to protect the environment.

To make the people aware about the protection of environment, quiz, speech, essay and painting competitions should be organised in schools so that students learn ways to protect the environment. Apart from this, people should also be made aware by telecasting movies and documentaries on environment at public places, the District Judge said. He appealed to the people to avoid the use of plastic in daily life as it was dangerous for the environment.
