Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJUST), Hisar, recently conducted a campus placement drive with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) (Chandigarh Branch) — a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

The placement drive resulted in the selection of six students for the post of Deputy Engineer (fixed-term) with a CTC of Rs 11.5 LPA.

Vice-Chancellor Narsi Ram Bishnoi congratulated the selected students and expressed immense pride in GJUST’s ability to prepare its students for elite job opportunities in renowned organisations.

He highlighted that BEL, being one of India’s premier defence electronics companies, offers a remarkable platform for young engineers to contribute to critical national projects and cutting-edge technological advancements.

The university remained committed to enhancing industry partnerships and providing career-defining opportunities to its students, Bishnoi added.

Registrar Dr Vijay Kumar also congratulated the selected students and said the university remained steadfast in its commitment to fostering more high-value collaborations in the future, ensuring that its students continued to receive outstanding career opportunities in organisations like BEL.

The Vice-Chancellor felicitated visiting officials from BEL, Chandigarh, recognising their valuable contribution to the recruitment process and their efforts in strengthening the university-industry connect.

The honoured officials include Deepa Bajpai, General Manager; Rajeev Ailawadi, AGM; Abha Shrivastva Mathur, Sr DGM; Saikat Banerjee, DGM; Rajeev Kumar, Manager; Vishruti Nandel, Dy Manager; and Prashant, Officer.

Director (Placement) Dr Partap Singh extended his gratitude to the officials for conducting the recruitment drive.

He talked about the selection process, which included a pre-placement talk, technical assessments and personal interviews.
