Chandigarh: With 244 fresh cases, the state Covid tally jumped to 2,65,199 on Monday. Meanwhile, the death toll reached up to 2,956 with six more deaths.

Gurugram reported a maximum of 72 cases followed by 32 from Faridabad, 20 each from Sonepat and Panchkula and 12 from Yamunanagar. One death each was reported from Gurugram, Karnal, Panipat, Sirsa, Jhajjar and Jind. —TNS
